Ben said he just wanted to take off and not make a big deal about leaving the band; but I'm a suck, and it's just really weird not having someone around when they've been pretty accessible (and in your face) for the last five years. I'm the oldest, but I'm still immature enough to know we all did a lot of growing up around each other, and even with the age difference I always felt on the same level. I'm writing this more for myself than anyone's interest, and hoping that he reads it because it was weird the last couple of weeks before he left. We had arguments and annoyances, shit talking and complaining, but for five years of late, late nights I'd say we did pretty good.
It's always hard to find a good drummer
